My name is Rafael Martín de Agar Tirado and I have started my own bussiness developing software for other enterprises. We have been doing our work for more than 2 years and we are 11 people right now.

I think software patents are a real threat to small software companies like mine, and the only beneficiaries are really big companies (mostly in USA).

In our daily work, we write a lot of code lines mixing up existing software ideas and algorithms and probably creating new ones. With software patents we would need a lot of money to fight with patents holders if they attacked us...

Companies like mine would be in real trouble if software patents existed.
